Editorial policy
Our editorial aim is to make each calculation understandable and reproducible. A longer article is useful only when it answers another meaningful question, adds a worked example, or explains a limitation.
Sources and originality
The guides in this edition use original wording and illustrative examples. Formula definitions and health interpretation are linked to primary research or recognised public-health sources where applicable. We do not reproduce other websites’ articles or invent personal case histories.
Authorship and review
Content was prepared with AI assistance. Automated arithmetic checks are different from clinical review: checking an equation’s implementation does not establish that it is appropriate for every person. This edition does not claim independent clinical review.
Claims and changes
Numerical results are labelled as estimates or conversions according to what the tool actually does. We avoid guaranteed weight-loss claims, universal diet targets, fabricated expert quotes, and misleading ratings. Dates identify this edition; they do not claim that a clinician reviewed it on that date.
Corrections
If you notice a discrepancy, keep the page URL, selected units, non-identifying example inputs, and expected calculation. This makes an issue reproducible. Do not send medical records or sensitive personal history to explain a software error. This edition does not currently offer a public support inbox or submission form.
Advertising
This edition has no advertising or affiliate links. If advertising is introduced, it should be clearly distinguishable from calculator controls and editorial content, and privacy information must describe the actual services used.
